Help I’m stuck at the beach! Palm Beach, Sydney that is. It seems like it lately with beach side properties around the world. I couldn’t think of a better place to real estate stalk though. Today I have found another beach shack with a big price tag. (POA… always a good indicator of an “interesting” price.) But oh what a cutie! Unassuming outside and hipster cool inside. So cool in fact that it graced the pages of Inside Out magazine. The owners and agent are proud of the fact too. They included shots of the layout. Link here while it lasts. If I had the money I’d be moving in for Easter.
Happy hump day for a short work week! I love Easter weekend. Time with family and chocolate and this Easter my mom is making her lasagna (by request)…. I love my Italian mamma’s cooking. 🙂 But onto the topic of the moment – EYE CANDY! Today more from one of my biggest photographer crushes, Paul Raeside (see more here).
Carine Magescas, based in San Francisco, first created Illico Design in 2003 and distributed exclusive lines of home accessories from new French designers to the US (she was from France) and soon moved into interior design. She defines her style as contemporary yet warm with touches of the unexpected. I think it’s modern yet unpretentious and comfortable – a perfect combination.
Having overdosed on the rustic beauty of Spanish homes captured through the lens of Enrique Menossi in the previous post, it’s time to move to something a little darker, richer, more sophisticated. Or how about a vibrant taste of urban colour?. Just as inspiring, just as beautiful. The man is a master of his craft.
P.S. And just in case it is all too darkly sophisticated for you I have lightened it with one more all white wonder.
Just a quick reminder about our Freedom Furniture competition. Don’t forget, if you are an Aussie or Kiwi reader, to enter as many times as you want before the end of Saturday April 7. Go here and tell me why should you win the Freedom Bazaar floor rug. In 25 words or less 🙂 The entries (and begging) has been amazing so far!
