Love the light streaming in. Love the mix of old and new. Love the cheeky flash of red. Love this library/workspace by Barcelona-based ds Architecture and Design.
A match made in heaven. The Paddington, Sydney showroom of tailor Patrick Johnson by his interior designer wife Tamsin Johnson. You know that fantasy I have about hiding in a shop until after closing time then sneaking out and pretending said shop is my home? So finding a hiding place here!
This home, on Carnation Street in Silverlake, California is another doozy of a project by design firm Commune (I featured others here and here). Gawd they create the coziest yet stylin’ living rooms! And again, stunning colours and textures in the textiles they use. I can honestly say I would move in and not change a thing – except maybe make the kid’s room an office of cat hangout. 🙂
I was happy to hear from Jason MacLean the other day, as it has been a while since we have featured his interiors and bespoke kitchens. This British designer knocked another kitchen out of the park with a minimalist vibe yet featuring vivid blue bespoke cabinets and a super fun tile floor. The yellow chairs are a striking addition and OMG the lighting! The house was actually completely renovated and also features bespoke wardrobes and Eley Kishimoto wallpapers. Love it! (Previous posts of his work here).
I still have a thing for a gallery wall. You too? Loving this one by Angie Hranowsky. Just enough retrolicious goodness.
