I WANT THIS BATHROOM!!! I have no words beyond that folks. Another perfectly executed project by Cartelle Design.

This 40 m² apartment in Moscow is a flawless example of how to maximize space when there isn’t much to work with. Cartelle Design used a grey base and added bits of colour with a bold AF yellow bed and platform, a red mirror in the hallway and pretty pink tile in the bathroom. High ceilings and large windows across the apartment help to make it feel larger and loft-like. Love this.

A’ Design Award & Competition is organized and awarded annually and internationally in a wide range of categories, and is a competition that blows my mind each year with the amount of ingenuity that the contestants bring to the table. Projects that focus on innovation, technology, design and creativity are awarded with the A’ Award. While realized projects find opportunities to get published, reach new markets and meet a wide range of buyers for their existing products, the organization also helps the creative minds and startups to meet with the business people to realize their product ideas. Keep your bag packed. We’re not done with our virtual getaways yet. We’re crossing the Mediterranean to Tel Aviv, to The Levee, a modern apartment hotel rising from a historic base. Loft-like interiors and industrial elements run through each apartment, merging the buildings rich history with contemporary design.

Let’s start the week by running away from the everyday drudge. We’re off to Lisbon to a 6 bedroom hotel in an 18th century house with interiors that pay homage to the 21st century. Minimalist and chic with the bright Portuguese light filtering in through sheer drapes onto the old limestone walls.

“All of our houses started as our family’s homes, and they’re now open to whoever wants to experience them. They are part of our story and echo the importance of feeling at home. Along the way, we realized that we are not alone in the search for happiness and fulfillment, and thus it felt right to share our values and visions with everyone else – one house at a time. We named this search & sharing process Silent Living.”
