I do not usually start my posts that feature a home with a photo of the bathroom. But since this may be my favourite bathroom EVER, I decided it had to be first. This is la résidence Esplanade, by Montréal architect Emilie Bédard (collab with Idea Design).
For the record, I love the rest of this home too.

One more from the TV show The Block. Michael and Carlene’s apartment features warm exposed brick walls, slick kitchen and a generally panned main bathroom, the weak link in an otherwise well resolved space. Link here while it lasts.

Restrained, limited loveliness. Elegant sufficiency. A few simple pieces, a small space, a monochromatic palette and then peace. I wish I could live like this but I sit at the centre of clutter chaos. Stalking in Darlinghurst, Sydney. Link here while it lasts.

Talk about packing a design punch. I can’t wait to see more of this Fitzroy apartment by interior designer extraordinaire Greg Natale but I guess I’ll just have to wait until November 2014 when his book The Tailored Interior is released. Swoon. Love his wallpaper range for Porter’s Paints. Stripes never looked so sexy.

..especially black in a kitchen. And those tiles! *SWOON*
