With its powdery berry highlights on a neutral background, its lovely light, pretty courtyard and compact living this contemporary terrace house in Paddington, Sydney is a cocoon of everyday luxury. I seriously want to move in. Packing my bags now. Link here while it lasts.

Inside Out

Posted on Wed, 20 Aug 2014 by midcenturyjo

Ever since Inside Out magazine went monthly I’ve been in seventh heaven. After all you can never get too much of a good thing! Managing editor Lee Tran Lam has sent along a sneak peek into the new September issue.

The mag is out Thursday, and I’ve bundled up for you our cover story – it’s about a couple who organised their Melbourne renovation from the Middle East (!), where they were based, via Skype and time-zone-coordinating correspondence with local architect Clare Cousins (pictured), who got the ball rolling and ensured the process was as hitch-free as possible by the time they landed back in Australia. You can see that all the organisation clearly paid off in these images, styled by Marsha Golemac and photographed by Brooke Holm.

Aussie readers can pick up their copy of the September Inside Out on Thursday. Don’t fret if you aren’t in Australia because you can read along on  ZinioGoogle Play,  the Apple Newsstand and Nook.
