You may remember my post on the restoration of the Brody House, a mid century gem. Now it’s time to take a closer look at the garden by Scott Schrader.
“Scott’s landscape designs are borne out of an intuitive ability to connect with the interior ‘heart’ of the home; resulting in an exterior environment that flows naturally, stylishly and serenely from this core.”
A stellar house and a stunning landscape.

This apartment designed by Joanna Lavén is an absolute DREAM! The architectural details in every space is blowing my mind. Add in the decor that is sophisticated with a mid-century flair and I am just about to keel over in excitement.

Crushing on another Heidi Caillier project (if you missed the last one it is here) and this one is lighter and dare I say funkier than the last. But it is equally fabulous and I just love how she pairs pieces from various styles always with a vintage touch and creates magical spaces.

This apartment could not be more uplifting, fun, quirky and retro-fabulous!!! I found this Ibiza home (of vintage shop owner Vicente Ganesha) on the website of super-talented interior stylist Pete Bermejo and I am having heart palpitations. I had to start with the bedroom because it is beyond gorgeous. (I hope he has hired someone to clean because I can’t imagine dusting his glass collection). Photos: Pablo Zamora

This mid-century house would be such a dream – architects back then knew their sh*t I tell ya. And Studio Shamshiri recently brought it back to life. An eight-year excavation, restoration and revitalization of a 1948 Rudolph Schindler house. Every window and surface of the original section of the house was brought back from it’s then unrecognizable state, and, with a fresh eye, new additions of the house were built, paying strict homage to the original spirit of the home. Purposeful, custom furniture and millwork were designed to fulfill various needs. Schindler ‘s designs sought to transform low art into high art through the poetic use of standard everyday materials and the Lechner House stands as a lasting and remarkable example of this vision.
