I couldn’t think of a better way to spend a four day Easter break than exploring the über fabulous city of Sydney especially if the base for my foray was this apartment at XXV Challis. From the exquisite interiors by Pamela Makin to its perfect position in Potts Point I’d be tempted not to stray too far. Actually I think I’d never want to leave. Unlike Jo I couldn’t live further from the tropics, but what better way to bring the tropics indoors than some green walls and huge plants. This home definitively evokes a tropical vibe within a modern shell. I have plant and dining table envy. Interior design by Roelfien Vos. 

It’s pretty clear. There are cool people in my sleeper government city of Ottawa (I can poke fun because 1 – I have lived here my entire life 2 – I am one of those boring public servants). I recently discovered the cool people of Clear.,  an interior design firm who created modern spaces that are spunky and magazine-worthy. I want all of these bathrooms. Gorg! And while admiring all of the gold bathroom hardware, does anyone know of a sweet gold/brass kitchen faucet I should consider for my kitchen redo? I am having a REALLY hard time finding one. The best of both worlds. A bushland setting back from the ocean. A tree change with easy access to a sea change. The location is Flinders, a town south of Melbourne on the Mornington Peninsula. I’m still stalking but instead of rolling waves it’s rolling hills. The house is by b.e. architecture and now leaves me with a conundrum. Which property will I buy from the proceeds of the bank heist I will have to pull to be able to afford either of them? Link here while it lasts.
