Villa Llucmajor is a stunning 750 sq m home on the Spanish island of Mallorca designed by Anja Peter of AP Design. A wonderful juxtaposition of a modern structure and ethnic decor. It’s a slice of paradise that would be a wonderful escape from reality.

I’m stalking on a Saturday but not on my home turf. I’m stalking a rather special apartment in Stockholm. Two floors of contemporary style meets old world charm, sleek chic meets aged natural finishes. It’s the home of Filippa Knutsson designed by Bjorn and Marianne Aaro of Aaro Architects. Swoon. Old dark timbers and new Dinesen oak floors, white walls and dark trim. I’d keep it just the way it is. A perfect marriage of modern and an earthy ethnic vibe. Yes he does and his look is tailored and masculine but not stuffy and contrived. New York based interior designer Jon Call has a take on rooms that is stylish yet casual and never stuffy. Love the layout of the studio apartment at the beginning of this post. The screen is so clever. Mr Call Designs.

Artfully considered, distinctive in concept, Susan Manrao Design focuses on interiors spaces that convey warmth and character while incorporating innovative art installations and inventive technology. I like it alot – especially the warm, neutral colours.
