Tonal Terrazzo

Posted on Fri, 22 Nov 2019 by midcenturyjo

Just when you thought millenial pink had had its day and that terrazzo might be going the same way along comes a stylish bathroom that embraces both with gusto and proves the nay sayers wrong. Talk about packing a punch … a pink punch that is. A tonal triumph by interior designer Angela Harry.

A designer’s eclectic apartment in New York

Posted on Thu, 21 Nov 2019 by KiM

The Upper West Side apartment of designer Kimille Taylor serves as her laboratory. She went all out with some bold colours, and furnishings ranging from super traditional to ultra modern. I will get behind such a random/eclectic mix every single time. Attention-grabbing design at its finest.

Lumière Lodge

WARNING: Get yourself some tissues before delving into this post. You’re going to need something to pop up the drool.

Lumière Lodge is brimming with colour, minimal and perfect. Watch the seasons whisper in through the homes antique windows, indulge in whiskey by the fire, or slip into the clawed foot bath and bathe under the light of the stained glass window. Launched in Winter of 2019 Lumière Lodge is the perfect location for creative content studio bookings. Lumière Lodge has been lovingly restored to its original beauty and is true to the Victorian Style.(Photos: Marnie Hawson)

Colour blocking in a Moscow apartment

Posted on Wed, 13 Nov 2019 by KiM

For an architecture and design firm that typically only creates spaces in black, white and grey, this 80 sq m apartment in Moscow was quite a departure. A.T.Ø (Architecture Technology Objects) Studio went a little crazy with red, pink, green and blue in this project and I’m digging the outcome. It is as bold as they come, and alot of fun.

Feminine + vintage in a home in Stockholm

Posted on Sun, 10 Nov 2019 by KiM

I spotted this home on Residence Magazine and immediately fell in love. The vintage, feminine, time-worn vibe of this home is the perfect dose of Sunday eye candy. Let this be a reminder to always look at the back of canvas paintings. You never know what you might find.
