Stalking Redfern

Posted on Mon, 14 Apr 2014 by midcenturyjo

Second stalking for today. A delightful terrace in Redfern in inner city Sydney. You can tell I have a soft spot for the inner suburbs of the harbour city. The house is once again unassuming from the street but bright, fun and fresh inside. Favourites? The exposed brick in the dining room, the bathroom and the view down the staircase. What I really want is a cup of tea at that dining room table… and a good gossip with the owner. Link here while it lasts.

Stalking Alexandria

Even a rottweiler and a security gate could not stop me from stalking this Alexandria, Sydney home. An unassuming brick facade opens to light filled open plan living with bamboo lined courtyard. Great kitchen, cool bathroom, fab art and a sweety for a dog. Link here while it lasts.

Stalking cool

Stalking inner city Paddington in Sydney and what do I find? A  funky hipster redo of a classic terrace house. It should be cool. It’s the home of an interior designer or at least that’s what the listing says. Go on. Tell me who they are if you know. Did I just type that? Oh now I’m worried. Stalking just got a little creepier. No, no. I just want to know who designed this hip pad. I swear. Link here while it lasts.

Stalking

I just want to run around and mess it up a bit. Not too much. Just kick off my shoes at the door, maybe leave the mail on the dining table, definitely forget to put out those patio cushions (or probably forget to pull them in in bad weather) and that rug and chair in the front yard wouldn’t last two minutes before someone knicked off with them. A little too over styled for the photo shoot but still with lots of cool ideas. Stalking in Paddington, Sydney. Link here while it lasts.

Stalking behind blue doors

A bright blue door in an unassuming tiny terrace facade gives just a hint that this may not be a typical historic home within. A contemporary space lies beyond the entrance. Small yes. Stylish definitely. Inner city Sydney living in Darlinghurst may mean less space but not less everyday luxury. Link here while it lasts.
