Annie Brahler of EuroTrash took an already glamorous home in Naples, Florida and worked her magic to bring glam throughout the interior. The staircase was giving Cheesecake Factory vibes, and is now curvy in the right places with a brass and matte black railing of iron florets and acanthus leaves – and that chandelier! The formal dining room was inspired by the drawing room walls in the Paris home of the late Yves Saint Laurent (hand painted by Olga Saldivar). The kitchen sparkles, drenched in green, white and brass. A fabulously and decidedly masculine work space for the mister looking very Ralph Lauren. The primary suite is a blast from old Florida past, swathed in the prettiest of pinks with a reupholstered Milo Baughman sofa. Then there’s the Chinoiserie bedroom….. Photos: Björn Wallander.

After years of neglect and poorly conceived remodels, a 1920s residence in New Jersey’s pastoral Horse Country required a full gut. The interior was conceived to be true to the home’s original period but mindful of modern lifestyles. This involved designing all of the interior architecture including moldings, fireplaces, baths and kitchen, even relocating a staircase. The home was then outfitted with comfortable furnishings in keeping with its country setting.
Horse country? I’m already won over. This home though is the icing on the cake in a setting like that, with it’s casual sophistication and touches of elegance and at the same time utilitarianism. This striking 1930s villa on Marseille’s Corniche Kennedy has been reimagined by Dorothée Delayeas as a soulful retreat where Mediterranean views meet a 1970s spirit. The design preserves the home’s soul while introducing a fresh, contemporary touch. The interiors are all about light and texture while curated vintage pieces meet bold artworks. With layered terraces and a garden immersed in Mediterranean flora the house feels like a luminous, personal escape in the heart of the city.

Canyon Estate is a stunning example of blending traditional architecture with modern, bold design. Balancing old-world charm with modern elements, the design creates a unique sensorial experience. The juxtaposition of classic details and sleek, contemporary furnishings results in an inviting home that’s as functional as it is refined. Canyon Estate showcases a harmonious relationship between past and present, creating a residence that’s moody yet effortlessly elegant.

Lauren Nelson Design, in collaboration with architect Joram S. Altman, reimagined this 1908 Classic Revival home Cole Valley, San Francisco with a bold design overhaul. Stripped to the studs with only the front façade preserved, the house was lifted, expanded and opened to city views. Inside, classic detailing, paneled walls, high ceilings, and curated furnishings, creates a fresh, vibrant atmosphere that blends historic charm with contemporary ease and colour.
