I would give anything to be able to spend summers in a place like this. How beautiful!!! Faraway Farm is a remote five bedroom rural farmhouse in Carmarthenshire accessible only by foot. (or a 4×4!) Approached down a mile long rough farm track where a vehicle can be parked up, and then on foot across the pedestrian bridge over the ford towards the house. The house is completely off-grid so power is limited. The interiors are dark and atmospheric and for a new renovation appear to be completely authentic. There are log burners in the house, open fireplaces, a mixture of stone on the ground floor and wood floors on the first and second floors. Available as a location home via Shoot Factory.

A 17th century farmhouse in Provence

This is one of the most beautiful homes on one of the most beautiful properties I have ever seen. This 100-acre working farm is tucked against the Luberon mountains in southern France. Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, Ken Fulk repaired the 17th-century farmhouse and revitalized the grand potager, bringing the property up to date as a peaceful getaway for long family vacations. Each room in the main house, which includes the former bergerie (now a dining room), a wine cave, two kitchens, living rooms, a library and eight bedrooms, has been furnished with a transportive mix of antique and modern pieces.

Influences of nature and Europe

There is something so incredibly peaceful and comforting about a home filled with white and pale wood. This 1970s structure underwent major renovations and the results leave you to believe the home has been around much longer than that. A very neutral colour palette and many European antiques are a welcome addition. I could not love this more. (And that antique stone sink in the kitchen! SWOON!) Designed by Shannon Bowers. Quince House

I love this house. I love everything about it. I might have tried to go more traditional in the kitchen with lots of furniture pieces to make it look really old school. Otherwise this house is pretty much perfect. A house of three parts; a Georgian house, a former bakery, and cart barn, all centred around a mature walled garden, and cleverly stitched together to form an attractive home. Stretching to almost 3,500 sq ft, the property also includes two creative studios. Another gem of a location home located in Bedfordshire, a county in the East of England, available via Shoot Factory.
