A Victorian mansion in London

Posted on Mon, 18 Oct 2021 by KiM

This Victorian mansion in London is insane! That staircase is an Instagrammable moment if I ever saw one. This home has 4 ensuite bedrooms, a lower floor with family room, gym, changing area and sauna and an indoor pool with arches that open up to allow a free flow into the outdoor pool, a roof terrace and much more. Absolutely stunning. Available as a location home through Shoot Factory.

A Spanish Revival home in Los Angeles

This 1926 Spanish Revival home in Los Angeles is yet another example of Frances Merrill of Reath Design‘s creativity and brilliant use of colour and pattern. This time it is a bit more subtle than most of her projects, but that allows the architecture of the home to stand out and take centre stage. Casual and playful and every detail is worth taking note. Page Louisell Design is based in Chicago and known for sophisticated, livable and quality interiors including a fearless sense of color, sophisticated use of pattern, and mix of bespoke and antique furnishings. Well, I’m smitten, especially with this space – Page’s apartment. I’d throw in timeless too. Gorgeous!

English vibes for a newly built home in Austin

Posted on Thu, 30 Sep 2021 by KiM

One thing I absolutely detest in this city is how all new builds are designed to look modern regardless of the neighbourhood and surrounding architecture. I love that this home is a new build and was designed to look like an English village, despite being located in Austin, Texas. And the result is bright (except the kitchen – which is WOW) and inviting and beautiful inside and out. Designed by Fern Santini. A luxury music-themed home in Austin

Posted on Fri, 24 Sep 2021 by KiM

Austin in Stereo is a 7,300 sq ft, 4 bedroom home in West Austin where nearly every room of the house was designed by Fern Santini with a unique art or music-themed element. A bar, turntable, Sonos speakers, signed photos of music legends, Woodstock wallpaper, lots of dark walls and graphic patterns make this a really stylin’ and party-ready home.
