Working on a Saturday

Posted on Sat, 7 Mar 2020 by midcenturyjo

It’s like I say week after week. If you have to drag yourself into work on a weekend it should be somewhere stylish. (Is working in a fabulous dress shop really work though?) Coco and Lola, Double Bay by LAHAUS.

I got heart palpitations when I spotted this house on Nuevo Estilo and had to share with you because there is nothing I love more than ornate architectural moldings. And uniquely laid hardwood floors. Both of these elements in this apartment in Madrid designed by architecture and design studio BAO are absolutely exquisite. What was formerly a law office that was painted yellow with synthetic flooring is now a dreamy home.

“This federation home is located on the WA coastline and the extension was designed around a young family of 5. The coastal context and lifestyle formed a strong part of the client briefing. We aspired for a casual feel with original design outcomes that complimented the existing federation style architecture.”

A wonderful modern coastal interpretation in Cottesloe, Perth … The Beach House by LAHAUS.
