A Queen Anne manor house in Norfolk

This early 18th century Queen Anne manor house in Norfolk is just overflowing with incredible period details, pretty colours and patterns and all the comforts that must have the owners never wanting to leave. Carlos Garcia is a master at bringing traditional décor into this era. I am such a huge fan of his work. (Photos: Paul Massey)

Bespoke beauty in Beirut

“A canopy of refined details, an assortment of colors and materials, a contrast between mass and void, what we expect to achieve from space design is synergyNatural light is our main orchestrator as it defines the way we read and therefore feel about space, each one of our interventions is mindfully tailored according to its visual impact and the way it would interact with its environment. We’ve always been interested in experimenting with rhythmic patterns of geometric shapes as they add a unique signature to each one of our projects.”

OMG the walls! The beautiful carved and curved artisan wall panels. What would be just a stylish space has been elevated into a stunning space. ANM Residence in Beirut by design studio David/Nicholas.

The other day I shared the Provence home of designer Enrica Stabile of Solamente Giovedi….and now I would like to share her equally fabulous apartment in Milan. A bit Gustavian, a bit Scandinavian, a bit Southern France and European chic in a space that includes lovely windows and moldings, old doors, and a bathroom with huge columns that completely elevates (literally) the space.

The Provence home of Italian interior designer and antiques dealer Enrica Stabile of Solamente Giovedi is exactly what I envision when I think of a home in the south of France countryside. It is filled with an incredible collection of antiques and vintage, and arranged picture perfectly in each room. That kitchen makes me want to cry it’s so beautiful.

Out of the blue

Blue might be one of my least favourite colours but this home designed by Laura Stephens has several pretty shades that I could get behind. Especially that Oval Room Blue library/living room, and with accents of red against it it’s even more special. Though could be because I’m so smitten with those beautiful built-in bookcases.
