Here’s a little peek into the portfolio of Norwegian interior stylists Jannicke Kråkvik and Alessandro D’Orazio (while I listen to the crazy winds that seem to be trying to uproot my 12′ wide house thanks to Hurricane Sandy).
As I mentioned yesterday, I am a new fan of Spanish interior designer María Lladó. She seems to love jewel tone colours mostly on accent walls and in accessories, and she brings together such a variety of styles of furniture (most of which looks vintage). In the end her spaces seem effortless, fun and casual. She makes me forget how much I love neutral decor. 🙂
I recently stumbled upon the portfolio of Parisian interior designer Sarah Lavoine and was completely blown away. Her spaces are contemporary, eclectic, modern, sometimes poppin’ with colour, sometimes neutral, but alway relatively simple but with high impact. The following country home she designed is absolutely stunning, and unlike like any country home I have ever seen. It appears to be HUGE, and room after room is intriguing at each turn and decorated to perfection. I am so smitten I plan to feature another of her projects later today.
Gorgeous rooms by Australian über design duo Juliette Arent and Sarah-Jane Pyke of Arent & Pyke. Their aim? To create an easy elegance with a contemporary edge. Style with livability means that their designs are functional and beautiful. A seamless blend of colour, texture, warmth and sophistication. Inspiring. Passionate. Exquisite.
P.S. Don’t miss their fab blog blog In/Out.
Imagine meeting a modelling legend, a woman who defined a style, an era. Imagine shooting her in her amazing home. Imagine having the talent to capture that larger than life personality in that larger than life home. Don’t imagine. This is what it looks like. Jonas Gustavsson takes us inside modelling superstar Peggy Moffitt’s Los Angeles digs. Just a sneak peek. You’ll have to wait until his photos hit the pages of the design magazines to see it all. Thanks Jonas!
