It’s like I say time and time again. If you have to drag yourself into work on a weekend it helps is it’s somewhere stylish. Software company Identitii’s headquarters by Fellow.

I can’t get enough of the eclectic, European style of Daniel Suduca and Thierry Merillou of Suduca & Merillou. (See previous feature here). I thought I’d share some random photos from their portfolio that I just can’t get enough of. Mostly because of that photo above. Dying over the brown/olive wall with the unexpected addition of some teal.

Russian decorator Liza Rachevskaya is really pushing all the right buttons with these spaces that are a wonderful random mix of colours, textures and furnishings from many eras. I love unexpected combinations that have me devouring each photo in detail. And I must note how head over heels I am for the first bedroom below. Gorg!!!

Old school townhomes in New York are one of my favourite things. I feel like you could throw a few pieces of decrepit furniture in one of these homes you picked out of the trash and be like, “check out my sweet pad!” and I’d be all “it’s so beautiful!”. Yes, alot has to do with the absolutely breathtaking architectural details that if you’re lucky, have been lovingly cherished over the years. In the case of this home though, designer Shawn Henderson nailed it with everything. The paint colours, furnishings, light fixtures…

Today’s lesson: how to go dark without going too dark. Because no one wants to live in a hole, or a cave. Studio Duggan nails it with this project with some black, dark blue and a grey-ish green.
