I love to see people take risks in the world of interior design, even if it isn’t to my taste nor something I can imagine living in. If it’s ballsy I give it 2 thumbs up. Like this all black apartment in St. Petersburg I found on The Village. Black from floor to ceiling, sparkly drippy chandeliers, swag burgundy curtains and bedding. I hate to say it but had I not known what website this was from my first guess would have been it was located in Russia. Do you think you could live here?

When I spotted this apartment designed by cityhomeCOLLECTIVE I wanted to jump up on my desk and shout YES YES YESSSSS!!! The vibe here is edgy, a bit gothic and a style I am completely in love with. If this would take the place of the completely overdone bohemian style that everyone is doing these days I would be sooooo happy.

Round-up of Monique Gibson favourites

I can’t get enough of Monique Gibson‘s spaces. And although we have featured some of these projects of her already, I thought they were worthy of another look, with some others added in that I can’t get out of my head. *swooning!*

A mock Tudor-style house in England

Posted on Wed, 29 Nov 2017 by KiM

I love the gothic vibe and drama that comes with a Tudor-style house. This home in Hertfordshire, England is gorgeous and plays up on the Tudor architecture with dark blue and black accent colours. Some bold choices like the lighting and stools in the kitchen, a ceiling in high gloss navy and another in red, and black tile in the bathrooms help add to the drama. Another amazing project London-based Studio Duggan.

Gothic madness

This loft deserves a huge OMG. OK, several OMG’s. This loft is located in East London and on this locations website, the description reads simply “3rd floor loft with distinctive decor”. Distinctive? Uh….YEAH. Check out all the religious art (Jo’s fav) used to decorate this over-the-top gothic space.
