I was scoping out the portfolio of architecture and interior design firm West Chin the other day to see if there were more photos I could showcase here that Jo hadn’t already done in her post back in June. I came across a swanky pad that I thought was worthy of it’s own post. This flat is modern but not too harsh, with funky bits here and there (including a couple sets of boobs and a pair of diaper chairs), and even some cute spaces for the kids (the parents must lock them in their rooms for fear of dirty hands on the furniture). FAB!

I couldn’t stay away. I just had to go stalking through Swedish real estate sites. From Alvhem Mäkleri & Interiör  – the look is almost their brand. White floors, cute accessories, the pop/splash/flash/dash and dollop of colour, a classic scandi piece or two and the obligatory pair of discarded fashionable shoes and dress on the hanger. The story that the styling tells lures you in. You want the lifestyle as much as the apartment. If you could you’d buy this home, live this life. Mission accomplished.

I was recently devouring the website of  Danish stylist and writer Katrine Martensen-Larsen and came across the most wonderful home that is bathed in white. It is the flat of Danish designer Nina Kejser and her Italian husband Mario Iadanza in the small town of Charlottenlund just north of Copenhagen. Most of the furnishings are modern but I love that they’ve added some vintage pieces here and there to add interest. I am becoming more and more in love with neutral spaces and this one really does it for me, and it’s styled perfectly by Katrine and photographed by Mikkel Adsbøl. For as long as I can remember I have wanted to live in a converted loft (and this desire has grown in the past 2 years since living in a 12′ wide home). What a pleasure to find an email in my inbox from Peter Wagner of Germany who wanted to share his loft with our readers. It is located in an old factory and in one year Peter converted the space HIMSELF into a spacious and cosy home that I am utterly envious of. Here are a couple before photos that show how much work he took on:

David Spence, Graham Harris and Neil Hogan form the London-based firm SHH that dabbles in architecture, interior design and branding. They are multi-disciplinary in every sense – including their style. Whether it be rooms bathed in white (my fav of their portfolio), traditional or funky and a bit out-there, they just seem to have alot of fun and enjoy what they do. (And I crave a massive media room like the one in photo 10).
