I am in love with this loft apartment. It is the home of photographer Margrethe Myhrer (Jo featured her work here), her boyfriend Henrik and their baby daughter Alma, located in Majorstua, the west side of Oslo, Norway. Those beams! Those leather dining chairs! The concrete in the kitchen and bathroom! Margrethe’s stunning photographs on the walls! AAAHHHHH!!!!! This is a little slice of heaven. And with that, happy Friday dear readers!
P.S. For folks in and around Ottawa, don’t forget about the Ottawa Antique Show tomorrow and Sunday. I’ll be there so stop by the Daff Design booth and say hi!

Imagine living in a loft awash with light and space. Line the walls with books and art, fall back into your comfy couch and you’re home. What’s not to love about this Brooklyn loft by Ensemble Architecture? I’m still oggling the impressive wall of books. Yes please!

I almost convinced myself. “It’s real. It’s so fabulous it has to be real.” You see we don’t feature 3D rendering on the blog. No the rooms in our posts are real. They’re built. Bricks and mortar. “This has to be real,” I argued to myself. “I really love it.” Imagine living in a grunge/industrial/masculine/raw but rich interior. Yes imagine is what we have to do. A fabulous small loft space… almost. Design and renderings by Minsk based Nordes.

So when can I move in???!!! I would SO much happier if I lived in a space this inspirational. 🙂 Part 2 of Renee Arns, photographed by the talented Paulina Arcklin.

I am absolutely, completely, unquestionably, positively in love with this loft. Every square inch. I’m drooling and having heart palpitations. It is located in the Netherlands and is the home of Renee Arns, stylist and one of the owners for Out Of The Blue Concept Store. Her friend Paulina Arcklin took these gorgeous photos that make me love this loft even more – if that’s possible. More loft goodness in my next post. (And OMG her cats match the decor!)
