A new barn-like extension to this Melbourne family home sees the new sit sympathetically with the old. Light and bright with a Scandi influence, the new spaces are made richer by the use of a statement blue. How cute is that little nook? I can see the kids jostling to claim ownership. A single piece of art from the homeowner’s collection provided the inspiration for this stylish Sydney renovation and extension by Amber Road Design. A parents’ retreat, facade and landscaping were created always with consideration of the interaction of internal and external spaces.
