Below is a photo of our rescue, Roxie, warming up by the fire on our George Nelson bench (with Hans Olsen fried egg chair in background).
– Aly
This is our Tonkinese ‘Butch’ as you can see he is loving our new Hans Wegner Shell chair
– Kathy (Toronto)
1 – Bella (aka The Fuzz). I had her from when she was a puppy up until when she passed away at 14. She was a sweet and shy dog but when she wanted for me to get up she would take a running jump and pounce on me in bed.
2 – Bruno. I adopted him in July of 2015 and he’s about 10 now. He’s quite big for a Husky and super fluffy. Don’t let that sweet innocent look fool you. He’s a firecracker when it’s time to go anywhere – walks, car rides, Petco, you name it – he’s Mr. Social.
– Ana (San Diego)
Here is my little girl. Her name is Bijou (13 yo) and she is sitting on my 60s Danish sofa. She loves the sun room. I am in the process of trying to claim it back. Lol.
– Aaron (Nashville, TN)
Found this one my phone. Count the kitties.

Pepe, our rescue English Bull Terrier.
– Lari
This is Mouse. He’s a four year old nebelung, grey, long-haired cat. We live in Somerville, Massachusetts, U.S. It’s the town next to Cambridge and Harvard University. We love it here and Mouse loves an unmade bed, a patch of sunlight, and his cardboard ice cream truck.
– Pascale
(Kim: This entry almost made me cry. Mouse looks exactly like my Edgar, who passed away in 2013. He’s at the end of this post. Ok now I am crying after finding that tribute post 🙁 )
This is an obviously-posed photo of Dude on a chair. In September, 2014, he and his brother, Duke, were left in a cardboard box in front of a no-longer-in-business pet store. One month later, we found Ditto living under our front steps. Before we took each boy to Northwest Spay & Neuter, we took photos of his little nuts. Framed in dollar store frames, we’ve posted the photos low enough so they can see them on the way to the food dish. From left to right, Ditto, Duke, and Dude.
I do have a question about the chair. I bought four at auction. None have a maker’s mark but one has a sticker on the bottom from an Italian moving company. I haven’t seen a chair like this on the Internet. I’m sure they aren’t Arne Jacobson’s but by someone who was influenced by his designs.

This is my amazing border collie Bodhi and his good buddy Astro – they are both rescues but you would never know it. They feel completely entitled to the good life!
– Jennifer (Santa Barbara)
First two are of our newest addition to the family: Mr. Meatball. Of origin unknown…breed? part unicorn, part manatee, part potbelly pup, and the remainder is most likely a grandpa doggy. Full of love and bad hips…and lumps…and allergies. And we love him to the moon and back. He has to have a set up that allows him to get onto chairs and coffee tables…hence the ton of ottomans around his areas. Doesn’t look glamorous but we don’t mind! Last shot are Farrah Fawcett (aka Fat Bastard…like in the Austin Powers movie, not as an insult) and her son, Sydney (grey kitty). The are in the same sun room as the pup.
– Pam
Took this photo yesterday afternoon while I was trying to get my damn corporate taxes done. Getting a shot of former-feral Frankie sitting all cute on my Hay Denmark J104 Chair from The Modern Shop was all the distraction I needed.

This is Rhody our sweet border collie puppy. So much for “no dogs on the couch” rule. This couch is a favorite nap spot for both our dogs, right off the kitchen it’s in the hub of our home so he can nap but not miss anything!
– Debbie (Rhode Island)
A couple of years ago I sent you picture of our beloved Elvis. He passed away a year ago. Since June we have now welcomed George (named after Mister Harrisson). Please find two pictures of his favorite spots: the kids chair we found on a flee market and the washing machine.
– Margaux (Geneva, Switzerland
2 yr old chocolate schnauzer getting comfy any way she can. I find her in some of the craziest positions.
– Gail (Ft Worth, TX)
Hi, I’m Willow and I used to not be allowed on the couch. After jumping on coffee tables and chewing my owners feet became my favorite hobby, they finally caved. Now I get most the pillows and whatever spot on the couch I want.
– Patrick (Massachusetts)
Kerkos (ancient Greek word that means tail) snoozing on the sofa. He’ll later hop off and soberly ask for a treat and a walk
– Natalia (Greece)
A photo from me of former-feral Frankie chilling out in the guest bedroom that I need to paint soon because that mauve is terrible. Bedding by Aura (via The Bay) and satin pillow from Homesense.

Here is Cooper, (named for Alice Cooper) our 7 month old standard poodle hanging out in his favorite spot on our Ligne Roset Nomade sofa. He has a bad habit of hiding his toys behind the cushions. Later he’ll jump back up and toss the cushions all over the room to retrieve the toys. What a clown.
– LeeDon (Dallas, TX)
Gala and Tena, two miniature schnauzers, just like their owner, love winter only from cozy living room, so they spent their lazy days sleeping and catching any possible sun.
– Nina (Zagreb, Croatia)
My Christmas project was to reupholster this chair. I used a blue velvet and quilted it for fun. Biggles, my cat, likes it. Hubby thinks it is a granny chair. Italian flower mirror on wall.
– Anna
This is my Jack Russell “Poppy” who loves to sit on the Ercol chair.
– Nicola (NZ)
Monty watching us decorate the Christmas tree from his favourite spot – a vintage Eames rocker!!!
– Chris (Toronto, ON)
I live in Chattanooga, TN, but my grandma lives on Montgomery, AL. Over the holidays we like to visit and love this little ottoman. It perfectly supports me and the big dogs can’t fit on it. It was so nice of grandma Susie to get it for me. It is hard to be a princess.
– Anthony
Here Bandi again! I sit my ikea hedgehog. I love it, because very warm.
– Edina (Hungary)
Here you can find some pictures of Theo, from Sabaudia (small town near Rome, Italy).
– Roberta
The genius of a Noguchi coffee table: a Golden Doodle see-through display of Sam. Eames daybed keeps Sam’s head well out of the sunlight.
– Ruth
a perfect picture for christmas: kasimir on the dining table (no, he is not supposed to be there) amidst the christmas decoration.
– heike (graz/austria)
this is Wilhelm. He is a very stylish cat. Wilhelm has an original chinholder from Thonet from 1930.
– Veronika (Vienna)
Christmas at my house. No decorations because that would not have gone over so well with 8 cats. So I bought some evergreen branches and stuck them in a carboy. It survived the cats. And the cats survived (apparently poisonous).
