This is our shy Olivia posing on the buffet under a painting I made of her father, a nomad white cat that visited our street and left us with this blue-eyed beauty…
– Ogenia (Israel)

My daughter’s cat, Tito loves the yellow chair in my studio.
– Anna (Campbellville, ON)

This is Cooper and Simcoe. Simcoe loves to snuggle on Cooper, and don’t let this look of indifference fool you!
– Crystal

This is Monty our Burman on an arthide ottoman, and LouLou a Visler/border collie cross both are 13 years old and much loved members of our family
– Lynette (Tasmania, Australia)

some other pictures of kasimir, who also seems to like very unusual spots… like our washbasin… or the niche above the couch in our living room, playing egyptian cat-god aside our african sculpture of a very thin man… and his favorite summertime spot underneath the garden table, there
he can sleep in the shade
– heike (graz, austria)

And from me – one of Felix’s favourite pastimes is driving me nuts while I blog. I got up for another cup of coffee one Saturday morning, turned around and snapped this photo (and I see this was taken before my floors were refinished = !!!!!!!).

Missing Wilma. Here she was on our sofa when she was healthy.
– Greta (Minneapolis)

This is Tootsie, a Mini Australian Shepherd who just turned one. Her favourite spot in the whole house is sitting on the bay window in our living room, looking outdoors – but every now and then she comes down and snuggles on our Ikea couch.
Nicole (Sudbury, Ontario)

My sister Jen (not the twin, the other one) finally took some phtoos off her memory card of her cats to send me. Her cats are both pretty special. Minnie the tabby was rescued from Taiwan by Jen’s friend when she was there teaching English. Then there is Carl, a Himalayan who was rescued from the veterinarian hospital where our cousin worked. He had some bowel issues and Carl’s owners gave up after about $2K trying to find a “cure” and asked for him to be euthanized. The vet intead asked them to sign the cat’s ownership over to them and he lived in the office for amonth until they finally nursed him back to health. My sister offered to take him and he is the most beautiful cat I have ever seen.

Hi-Fi adore le confort de notre salle de bains…
– D & B (France)

Here is Oliver, hanging out on my Herman Miller chair, arms stretched out, peering out the window.

My babies get on anything they can.  They enjoy lounging.  Elmo and Simon are watching me iron.  Doesn’t seem to bother them that I am working.
– Donna

I thought I’d submit a photo of my cat Mozzarella, lounging on the executive wingback chair I just got on https://www.ebth.com/ for a steal! 🙂 (And yes, my pillow is of a llama wearing an ugly Christmas sweater – ha!)
– Kim (Cincinnati, Ohio)

This is our boxer Nelson (19 months old). This used to be “his” chair when he was a puppy. It doesn’t look very comfortable for his size, but he makes it work when he curls up like a feline 🙂 We got the chair for free online and the quality is great.
..and sometimes he rests his head on the armrest. He has open access to our couch and bed, but sometimes returns to his old chair.
– Marianne (Bergen, Norway)

This is our cat Lovely Laura. We have adopted her from our local animal shelter because she was the friendliest cat in the shelter. She absolutely loves this chair and ever since I bought it she took over it and made it her favorite place to lounge.
P.S. I would love to know more about the chair if anybody knows of it’s designer, please let me know, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
– Vicka (Washington D.C.)

Rico’s havin’ a ball after hours of swimming, fetching, frolicking and bird chasing. It’s a dog’s life!
– Greta (Waterloo, Ontario)

I picked up this Plycraft chair this weekend at the Etsy/Handmade Harvest show conveniently at Wiseman + Cromwell‘s booth next to ours. LOVE IT! So do the cats. Mimin has been on it for hours now. (Also bought a 12 serving gorgeous brass plated nickel cutlery set that is to die for)

This is Toulouse, our three year old center of our universe. He is adopted from the local cat shelter and came to us as a blessing exactly one week before our 20 year old cat Mickey died and exactly one year after our 17 year old cat Kosmos died, it is something about that particularly week in August for us. Here relaxing on the bed with all the pillows. After his rough start in life he is now living the good life as every cat should be doing. He always wants to be close and follows me from room to room.
– Karolina (Malmö, Sweden)

Enclosed please find a picture of my lovely cat Evita on a fake fur pouf by Impressionen. Sadly two weeks ago she died of cancer. But I really like the photo as she loved sitting on all kind of cushions. With two other cats I live in Cologne, Germany.
– Patricia

Introducing Mr. Sherman!  The debonair hunter is surveying his world!  Sherman is particularly fond of the Shine by SHO tourquoise Pearl sofa next to a John Richards hand blown glass and steel lamp.
– Rebecca (Austin)

The first picture is Faustus pleading with me to get rid of the Ikea sofa and buy him one from Room and Board that would show his magnificent hair better. I caved 🙂
– Rebekah

I have some entries of my own, of course. 🙂 Felix lounging on the coffee table, Frankie admiring the new kilim rug, and Lucky sprawled on one of the repro tulip dining chairs while Frankie naps nearby.

The chair is an Acapulco from the Bay (50% off!) and the pouf from EQ3. Rug is from RugUSA. The stool/table is antique (junk really) but I love it. Sheepskin from Iceland (brought home for me by my daughter <3 ). The Jade plant is a really big old one that I adopted after all my roommates left it behind when the house we lived in was sold, years ago. And last, but not least! Soetkin (@soetkin_cat on Instagram) is a 1 year old rescue from Toronto Cat Rescue. I love her.
Carol (Toronto)

I love my lounge chair on my screened porch. I take many naps there while enjoying the sounds of the outdoors. Many days my pets beat me to it or they will snuggle next to me. Maud the Wheaton terrier and Stella kitty are relaxing!
– Donna (Indiana)

This is Bronx, my 3-month-old rescue baby from Austin Pets Alive in Austin, TX. My furniture is nothing special (Ikea bookcase, Furniture Row bed frame, Target bedding) but this little guy sure is!
– Chelsea

Smokey is enjoying a sunny morning in Arlington, Virginia.
– Theeng

Here is one of my cat, Mr Biggles, on the best seat in the house – a cloud soft leather chair protected from his claws with a sheep skin.
– Anna (WA)

And a few from me of course. 🙂 Elusive feral Georgie makes an appearance on a leather Eames chair in the kitchen, Bernie LOVES to watch for the resident chipmunk from the living room window perch (made from reclaimed wood we found in my nonna’s shed), and Bernie (feral) and his best buddy Felix (who tolerates him) lounging on the sofa in front of a Fotofibre pillow.
